AFLNT support the delivery of programs to students with special needs during school hours.
In the rural area an Auskick clinic is held after school hours for any interested young persons. In the next year it is planned to develop a clinic for children with special needs that will run alongside the current clinic.

Life Stream Foundation, in conjunction, with AFL QLD run a school based AFL Auskick program during Term 3 of the school year.

Since 1991 the South Australian Amateur Football League, in conjunction with SASRAPID Inc., has offered Australian Rules Football for people with integration difficulties in C7 (previously known as Division 12) of their competition.
The competition runs from May to August at various ovals with matches beginning at either 10:00am or 11:00am each Sunday.
Teams are nine-a-side for people with integration difficulties and players must be a minimum of 14 years old to participate.
The current clubs involved with the program competition are:

SASRAPID also works with the South Australian National Football League (SANFL) to provide support to Representative Teams, conduct coaching clinics during school holidays or at specific events.
Secondary School Sports - SA and SANFL with the assistance of SASRAPID hold a school carnival once a year, which attracts over 200 students with an integration difficulty.

F.I.D.A (Football Integration Development Association) is an independent organisation run in conjunction with the Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA) providing a competitive fixture with three divisions and 20 teams.
